Marion Johnson, 89, of Emporia, Kansas, died Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Holiday Resort, Emporia. He was a retired trucker and school bus driver.
Marion was born November 22, 1924 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and was raised by his mother and stepfather, Lydia Strupp Sill and Reuben Sill.
He is survived by a son, Brett Johnson of Emporia; two daughters, Brenda Nickel of Olpe, Kansas, and Brelana DeLong of Admire, Kansas; two sisters, Ruth Jones of Emporia, and Mildred Lewis of Lawrence, Kansas; and five grandchildren, Emiley Farley, Sean Nickel, Alexandria DeLong, Payton DeLong, and Sydney DeLong.
Marion was preceded in death by three brothers, Clair Johnson, Lloyd Johnson, and Alfred Johnson.
