Mark David Braddy

Mark David Braddy of Emporia, Kansas died on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Newman Regional Health in Emporia.  He was 71.

Mark was born on January 21, 1953, in Manhattan, Kansas, the son of Leo F. and Jeanne Domino Braddy.  He married Vicky Meyer on August 6, 1977, in Manhattan, Kansas.  She survives.

Surviving family members include his wife Vicky Braddy of the home; sons, Todd (Katherine) Braddy of Tucson, Arizona and Scott (Nikki) Braddy of Clay Center, Kansas; grandchildren, Claire and Colin Braddy of Tucson, Arizona and Micah and Meyer Braddy of Clay Center, Kansas; brother, Bruce (Diane) Braddy of Manhattan; sister, Carol (Norman) Frese of Alta Vista.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law Tom and Pam Braddy.

Mark was in auto parts at NAPA and Woolwines in Emporia.  He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Flinthills USBC Board Member, and the Knights of Columbus. Mark was an avid KSU Wildcat and KC Chiefs fan.

Cremation is planned with a Celebration of Life will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the 627 Event Space on Commercial Street in Emporia. Please dress casual.
