Mark Evan Walford of Emporia passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026, at his home. He was 56.
Mark was born on April 3, 1970, in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Eula Walford.
Surviving family members are his son, Brent (Alexandra) Walford of Topeka; mother, Eula (Bill) Tate of Hamilton; brother, Larry (Andrea) Walford of Hamilton; significant other Kjersti Walford of Sarpsborg, Norway.
He is preceded in death by his stepfather Gary Huston.
Mark earned his Master’s Electrician in 1992 and was an Electrician in Emporia running Walford Electric.
Cremation is planned with a private service later. Inurnment will take place at Janesville Cemetery in Hamilton.
