Mary L. Gavin (77) formerly of Emporia died Friday August 14, at the Eureka Nursing Center in Eureka, Kansas. Cremation will take place, with no services at this time.
Mary Lee Eastwood, the daughter of Louie and Minnie Meier Eastwood, was born November 30, 1937 in Emporia. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Kansas. She had been a sales person for various businesses in Emporia.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Holly Turner of Emporia; two brothers, Walter Eastwood and Donald Eastwood of Topeka; a granddaughter, Stacy Ragsdale of Emporia; and a great-grandson, Timothy Turner of Emporia.
