Maxine Lucille Gasso, 79, Emporia, Kansas, died February 23, 2015 at Stormont-Vail Medical Center, Topeka, Kansas.
Maxine Lucille Borlick was born in Cicero, Illinois, on February 15, 1936, the daughter of Max and Lucille (Muranski) Borlick.
She is survived by her life partner, Curt Kinzie, Emporia; daughters, Lynn Crabtree, Kenefick, Texas, and Susan Gasso-Arnold, Keller, Texas; son, Mark Gasso, Rapid River, Michigan; grandchildren, A.J. Coffelt, Alyssa Amos, Nick Gasso, Chris Gasso, Jessica Gasso, Mallory Givens, Gaston Arnold, Julie Gasso, and Jennifer Gasso; and six great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, three brothers, and a granddaughter, Madison Arnold, died earlier.
Cremation is planned. A private family celebration of her life will be at a later date.
Memorials have been established to the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth for Madison’s PALS Room or Swenson Early Childhood Education to Gasso special education memorial fund. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home.
