Michael Allen Risley

Michael Allen Risley died October 15, 2023, at Advent Health in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. He was 60 years old.

Michael was born on July 13, 1963, at Camp Zama Army Hospital in Fujisawa, Japan, the son of Larry Grant and Emiko (Inoue) Risley.

He married Scarlett Sherretts on July 28, 1990, in Emporia, Kansas. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his mother, Emiko (Inoue) Risley, Emporia, KS; son Bryson (Gabrielle) Risley, Topeka, KS; brother Kevin (Carolyn) Risley, Emporia, KS; sister Tammy (Jason) Montgomery, North Pole, AK; grand-daughter Raya Nichole Risley; and his brother from another mother, Tim Webb.

He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Michael worked as a fulfilment specialist with Uhlig LLC in Lenexa, Kansas, for 15 years.

Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 10:00 A.M.
