Michael Alan Siebenaler of Americus, Kansas, died on Monday, March 18, 2024, in Emporia. He was 60.
Mike was born on March 27, 1963, in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Gerald and Nellie Wilhite Siebenaler. He married Carol Horst but they later divorced. He later married Wanda Dains on December 21, 2009, in Emporia, Kansas. She survives.
Surviving family members include his wife Wanda of the home; son, Jake (Tiffany) Siebenaler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Jessica Siebenaler of Waverly; stepdaughters, Lesli (David) Gurney of Topeka, Jamie (Wayne) Gurney of Emporia. Michelle (Matt) Dains of Emporia, and Tosha (Tyler) Wassom of Elmdale; twelve grandchildren; sisters, Gail (Bruce) Finlayson of Perry, Oklahoma, and Jeri Renee (Terry) McIlvain of Olpe, Kansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Nellie Siebenaler; grandparents Jake and Barbara Elizabeth Siebenaler; Louie and Edith Wilhite.
Mike had a variety of interests and passions including hunting, firearms, riding off road vehicles and spending time with family and friends. He could always be counted on to be at his kids and grandkids’ sporting and school events.
Mike worked at Michelin in Emporia for the past year. Before that he worked for Walmart DC 6035 for 22 years and for the RV Doc for 18 years.
Cremation is planned. The visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2024, at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday morning at the funeral home. Memorial contributions to American Heart Association can be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O.
