Michael Allen “Mike” Williams, 55, Emporia, passed away at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka on Thursday, November 9, 2017.
Mike was born at Columbia, Missouri on February 16, 1962, the son of Chuck and Joan (Robertson) Williams, who died earlier. Mike married Joan Olsen in Florida on March 9, 1998. She survives.
Also surviving Mike are daughters; Andrea Williams, Mesa AZ, Ashley Bailey, Tempe, AZ, Hali Hileman, Lees Summit, MO, and Lexi Hileman, Topeka, KS and grandson, Jett Hileman, as well as many family and friends.
He was an avid outdoorsman, a fan of Mizzou and the Cubs, and a card player, including pitch. Mike was a licensed pilot and loved to fly. He worked as a service technician for several Emporia area firms.
Cremation is planned.
The family will meet with friends at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home Monday afternoon from 1:30 to 3:00
