Mildred Joy “Midge” Naylor Pagan, Emporia, Kansas, died at the Holiday Resort Care Center, Emporia, Kansas on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the age of 80.

Mildred Joy Naylor was born on October 7, 1930 at Arvonia, Kansas, the daughter of James and Fannie Smith Naylor. She married E. C. Pagan in 1949; they later divorced.

Surviving family members include: her son, Barry and wife, Kelley, of Kaycee, Wyoming; and his sons (grandsons), Noah and Jordan; sisters, Mae Richardson and Jean Hollern, both of Emporia, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy, who died in infancy.

Mrs. Pagan was a member of the West Side Baptist Church, Emporia, Kansas, where she was also a member of the Seniors Group of the church.

She was a homemaker. During her working career she was employed at the Villager, Four Seasons, Coburn’s Restaurant, and Willard’s Donuts.

Funeral services will be held at the West Side Baptist Church, Emporia, Kansas on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. The service will be conducted by Pastors Kenneth Armstrong and Bill Bingham of the church. Interment will follow in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia.
