Milton V. “Punky” Hoag of Emporia died on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at his home. He was 65.
Punky was born on February 6, 1956 in Hastings, Nebraska the son of Milton V. and Alice Hayes Hoag. He married Betsy Hillboe but later divorced. Punky then married Connie J. Frizell on June 15, 2002 in Emporia. She survives.
Surviving family members include: wife, Connie J. Hoag of Emporia; son, Caleb (Heather) Hoag of Fargo, North Dakota; daughter, Marissa (Chris) Paulson of Glyndon, Minnesota; step-daughters, Whitnie (Jeremy) Docman of Jacob Creek, Kansas, and Somer Hilleboe of Fargo, North Dakota; grandchildren, Bennett and Parker Paulson, Kale, Hadley, Jack, and Hudson Hoag, Rylee and Olivia Docman; brothers, Tim Hoag of Fargo, North Dakota, and Tom (Sharon) Hoag of Mapleton, North Dakota; sisters, Ginger Demmer of Rollag, Minnesota, Pam Guest of Comstock, Minnesota, and Roxy Jacobson of Fargo, North Dakota.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Dicky Hoag.
Punky was a master mechanic and builder for 48 years.
