Nancy Carol Schoeck

Nancy Carol Schoeck, Tulsa, Oklahoma, died Wednesday morning, August 22, 2018 at Saint John Medical Center in Tulsa at the age of 75.

Nancy Carol was born on March 26, 1943 in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Thomas Wayne and Dorothy Mae (Hammer) Rowlands. She married Jack L. Schoeck in 1961 and was divorced in 1984.

She graduated Emporia High School in 1961 She was co-owner and operated Quality Home Fence Co and in 1970 was co-owner of the J & S Cycle Center on First Avenue in Emporia. Later she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma and worked at Atlas Cycle Shop and Don Thornton Ford.

She is survived by a son, Rick L. Schoeck and his wife, Carol, Emporia; three grandchildren, Dustin of Herington, KS , Caitlin, and Nicholas Schoeck, Emporia; great-grandson, Landon Scott Schoeck Herington, KS; an aunt, Imegene Marsh, of Emporia; and a brother, Brent L. Rowlands, Suffolk, Virginia.

Nancy Carol is preceded by her parents, and her son, Scott L. Schoeck.

She was a member of First Christian Church, Emporia, and a Life member of the NRA.

Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Christian Church, Emporia. The service will be conducted by Pastor Lorraine Bailey of the church
