Naoma Christine Walker, 87, of Emporia died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Holiday Resort, Emporia.
Naoma was born on April 8, 1929 in Reading, Kansas, the daughter of Walter Beal and Mertle Mae Price Cox. She married Leroy Corbin on March 13, 1948 in Emporia. He died on September 12, 1976 in Emporia. She later married Clifford Walker on January 17, 1972 in Miami, Oklahoma. He died on February 24, 2004 in Emporia.
Surviving family members include: daughters, Cheri L. Corbin-Welborn of White City, Kansas, and Connie Seaton of Emporia; brother, Clyde Cox; eight grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husbands; son, Steve Corbin; three brothers; five sisters; and two grandchildren.
Naoma was a homemaker, and was a member of the Baptist Church in Reading and the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Cremation is planned with a memorial service at a later date. Memorial contributions to Hand in Hand Hospice or Emporia Friends of the Zoo may be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
