Naurine M. Schultz, 93, of Emporia, died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Midland Care Hospice House in Topeka, Kansas.

Naurine was born on October 25, 1921 in Dennison, Iowa, the daughter of George and Zella Hazel Brasel Zimmer. She married Joseph Frank Wright on the military base in South Dakota; he died as result of injuries sustained during World War II. Naurine later married Edwin Schultz on October 25, 1947 in Vail, Iowa. He died on January 31, 1994 in Emporia.

Surviving family members include: daughters, Carol Coleman of Emporia, and Jeannie Miller and husband, Tim of Chesterfield, Michigan; grandchildren, Matthew Miller, and Kristen Miller; brother, Duane Zimmer of Schleswig, Iowa; and a sister, Betty Crane of Prophetsville, Illinois.

She is preceded in death by her two husbands; brothers, Donald Zimmer, and Gene Zimmer; and a sister, Waldean Rice.

Naurine was a homemaker and lived on the farm in Olpe, Kansas from 1947 until 2002. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Olpe.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Olpe. The Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the church. Burial will be at Maydale Cemetery, south of Olpe.
