Norma L. Hoag, 82, of Emporia, Kansas, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at her home.
Norma was born on November 1, 1931, the daughter of Thomas W. and Serena J. Frazier Powell. She married Grover Berrong on December 14, 1948 in Galatia, Illinois. He died in March of 1971. She later married John (Jack) Hoag in 1984. He died in March of 2000.
Surviving family members include: sons, Clifford Berrong, and William Berrong, both of Emporia; daughters, Norma Davis of Chanute, Kansas, and Peggy Becker of Watkins, Colorado; brother, Roy Powell of Galatia, Illinois; sisters, Martha Fisher of Florence, Kansas, and Elsie Phillips of Topeka, Kansas; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her two husbands; parents; a daughter, Jane Hughes; two sisters; and three brothers.
Norma was a C.N.A. at Holiday Resort for several years. She was a Baptist.
