Norma J. Redick, 78, of Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, died on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Holiday Resort, Emporia.
Norma was born on July 2, 1935 in Cottonwood Falls, the daughter of Lillard and Mary Jane Brewer Brown. She married James J. Redick on September 14, 1957 in Cottonwood Falls. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include: son, Ted Redick of Kansas City, Kansas; sister, Cindi DeDeaux of Coffeyville, Kansas; grandchildren, Crystal Redick and Damien Redick; and great-grandchildren, Taliyah Francis, Tiauna Rowley, Talecia Cintron, Tamisha Langley, Terrence Langley, Alexander Redick, Alyssa Redick, Jayden Redick, and Adrian Redick.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three sons, Jeff Redick, Jerry Redick, and Jay Redick.
Norma was a CNA for 22 years at the Golden Living Center in Cottonwood Falls. She later was a paraprofessional for 12 years for Chase County Middle School. She was a member of St. James Baptist Church in Emporia.
   Funeral service will be held 1:30 P.M., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Chase County High School in Cottonwood Falls. Cremation will follow the service, with burial at Prairie Grove Cemetery in Cottonwood Falls at a later date.
   
   
   The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M., Friday evening, March 28, 2014 at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions, to be designated at a later date, may be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia.
