Norman C. Mason, 85, of Allen died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Newman Regional Health. Cremation is planned with a private family service to be held later. Interment of his and his wife's ashes will be in the Allen Cemetery.
Norman C. Mason the son of Norman C. and Ruby Page Mason was born January 31, 1932 in Kansas City, Kansas. He married Vera L. Burden on November 7, 1953 in Emporia. She preceded him in death on November 15, 2015.
Norman was employed by Johnson Controls and was a production supervisor for manufacturing car batteries. He also served in the Army during the Korean War, from 1950 thru 1952.
He is survived by two sons, Mike Mason of Lake Elsinore, CA and Robert Mason of Allen; a brother, Horace Mason of Spokane, WA; four grandchildren, Kimberly, Heather, Allen, and Kristina; and nine great-grandchildren.
