Patricia M. Mercer, 76, of Emporia, Kansas, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at her home.
Patricia May Davidson, the daughter of Wayne Harvey and Lillian Easterling Davidson, was born January 2, 1938 in Emporia. She worked at Longbine Chevrolet in the parts department for 25 years, retiring eleven years ago. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Pat is survived by two daughters, Roxanna Mercer of Wichita and Christine Sullivan of Emporia; a son, Edward L. Mercer, Jr. of Emporia; five grandchildren, Chad Mercer, A.J. Chambers, Nathan Jobe, Damen Baker and Christal Baker; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Dean Parker and Wayne Davidson, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 25, 2014 at First Congregational Church, 12th and State Street, officiated by Pastor Andrew McHenry of the church. Cremation is planned following the service.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, October 24, 2014 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia.
