Patricia Ann Pedersen, 72 of Emporia, Kansas, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at her home.
Patti was born July 12, 1943 in Emporia, the daughter of Luther Aubrey and Virginia June (Knittle) Williams. She was a graduate of Emporia High School. Patti worked for Citizens National Bank in 1963, before quitting to raise her family. She enjoyed quilting, tennis, bowling and snow skiing.
Patti married Gary D. Pedersen on February 23, 1963 in Emporia. He survives of the home. Other survivors include: sons, Brad L. Pedersen and wife Debbie of Overland Park, Kansas, and Shaun M. Pedersen and wife Amy of Emporia; daughter, Tracy D. Roach and husband Noel of Overland Park; sister, Daytha Duncan and husband Philip of Emporia; and grandchildren, Allison and Joshua Pedersen, Tyler and Kyle Pedersen, and Dylan, Gage and AJ Roach.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia. Pastor Rob Clausen of the First Baptist Church in Emporia will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Monday prior to the service. A private family Inurnment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia, at a later time.
