Patrick Lee Tobin

Patrick Lee Tobin of Katy, Texas died on February 26, 2019 at his home.  He was 68.

Patrick was born on August 10, 1950 in Emporia, Kansas the son of George Edward and Anita May Jones Tobin.  He married Kathleen June Herrick on September 13, 1969 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Emporia.  She survives.

Surviving family members include: wife, Kathleen June Tobin of Katy, Texas; son, Dr. Dustyn Patrick Tobin of Katy, Texas; daughters, Molly Ann Meier (Rick Meier) of Topeka, and Shana Lee Phillips of Katy, Texas; eight grandchildren; sister, Kathie Kelly of Phoenix, Arizona.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Michael Tobin, Anthony Tobin, and Mark Tobin.

Patrick was a respected pipeline engineer.  He was an active member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Katy, Texas, and a legacy member Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Emporia, and the Knights of Columbus.

Patrick bequeathed his body to benefit medical science.  Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Emporia.  Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.  The family request no flowers with memorial contributions to the American Heart Association can be sent in care of the funeral home.
