Paul Davis, 41, Emporia, Kansas, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 in Emporia.
Paul was born in Emporia on August 7, 1971, the son of Charles H. and Karen (Ryland) Davis, III.
He was employed as a truck driver the past ten years for Norfolk Iron and Metal, Emporia. Mr. Davis was a 1990 graduate of Chase County High School, and a 1992 graduate of the Aviation Program of Kansas State University, Salina, Kansas. Paul was a member of ABATE, and an avid motorcycle rider.
Surviving members of Paul’s family include: his parents of Cottonwood Falls; girlfriend, Gloria Sanchez, Emporia; sister, Diane Davis, Marion, Kansas; brother, David, and his wife, Stacy, Elmdale, Kansas; his twin brother, Brian, of Woodland Park, Colorado; two nephews; and two nieces.
Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, three uncles, and an aunt.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Emporia. The Mass will be celebrated by Father Rich Warsnak of the church.
A Rosary will be recited at the church Friday evening, November 23, 2012 at 7:00. Following the Rosary, family and friends will gather in the church parish hall to visit until 9:00 P.M.
Cremation is planned, with inurnment at a later date at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, Strong City, Kansas.
