Paul E. Morris, 75, of Emporia died on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Newman Regional Health, Emporia.
Paul was born on July 17, 1942 in Emporia, the son of Virgil E. and Viola May “Peg” Pearson Morris. He married Mary Ellen Welch. They later divorced. He is survived by his wife Ginger Lee Peak Unruh; son, Jay Paul Morris of Parrish, Florida; stepson, Rhett Unruh, Emporia and 2 grandchildren William Jay Morris and Madeleine Eve Morris.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Virgil J. Morris.
Paul worked for many years for Burlington Northern Santa Fe as a Brakeman / Conductor, and as a Rancher.
Cremation is planned with a private Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
