Paul L. Plummer, 53, of Seattle, Washington, and formerly of Emporia and Burlington, Kansas, died at his home in Seattle on Saturday, October 6, 2012.
Paul was born at Emporia on February 21, 1959, the son of Robert M. and Paula L. (Lowe) Plummer.
He is survived by his father of Emporia, and his sister, Jennifer Shields, Springfield, Missouri.
Paul’s mother died earlier.
He was a graduate of Emporia High School, attended Emporia State University, and graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography with a Master of Science in Photography, Commercial and Journalism Photography in 1982. Since June of this year, he was a Senior Instructional Designer for Honeywell. Prior to that he held a similar position at Amazon.com, and earlier had been a technical trainer for Cyberonics and also Microsoft.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 10:30 AM at First United Methodist Church, Emporia. Pastor Jeannie Jensen of the church will conduct the service. Interment will follow in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia.
