Raymond Otis McCall, 86, Munjor, Kansas, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.

Raymond Otis McCall was born at Concordia, Kansas on December 22, 1924, the son of Ralph Otis and Frances Edith (Howell) McCall. He married Constance Louise Dallke at the Nazarene Church in Salina, Kansas on November 2, 1946. She survives of the home.

Other surviving family members include: a son, Ralph McCall, Admire, Kansas; daughters, Emma Walters, Admire, Kansas, Sharon Collins, Success, Missouri; brothers, Clifford McCall of Oklahoma, and Albert McCall, Concordia, Kansas; sisters, Edith Chaput, Clyde, Kansas, Ruth Ann Towman, Concordia, Kansas, and Hazel LaBauch, of Louisiana; twelve grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda May Schuster; and seven brothers, Robert, Ray, Dean, Edward, Joe, James, and Glenn.

Mr. McCall served in the European Theatre in the United States Army during World War II. He attended the Nazarene Church in Hays, Kansas.

Mr. McCall was a Salesman and Driver for Anderson Brothers Produce Company, which later became Pacific Gamble-Robinson in Salina. He coached the company men’s softball team. He later drove a school bus for USD #489, Hays, Kansas.

Funeral service will be Monday, January 24, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. The service will be conducted by Rev. Niles Lloyd, Trinity Baptist Church, Vassar, Kansas. Interment will be in the Admire Cemetery, Admire, Kansas, with military honors by Lowry-Funston Post #1980, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Ball-McColm Post #5, American Legion.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home the hour before the service.
