Renee Denise Stockwell of Emporia died on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Newman Regional Health in Emporia. She was 60.
Renee was born on January 17, 1964, in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Roger and Sharon Headley Stockwell.
She is survived by her son, Casey (Elizabeth) Headley of Emporia; grandsons, Eli and Blake Headley; brothers, Travis Hensley of Wichita, and Jay (Cindy) Muse of Bolivar, Missouri; sisters, Peggy Hogan of Mayetta, and Patty Rangel of Newton.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Renee worked as a care giver for several years.
Cremation is planned with a private memorial service this Saturday February 24th from 2 to 4 pm at the little shelter at Peter Pan Park. Memorial contributions to the Renee Stockwell Memorial Fund to Casey Headley to assist the family with final cost, can be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
