Robert "Bob" Davis

Bob Davis of Olpe passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, at his home in Olpe.  He was 87.

Bob was born on March 21, 1938, to Frank and Elsie Dunn Davis four miles west of Olpe at his parents' home.  He graduated from Emporia High School in 1956.   He married his high school sweetheart Delores Collinge on March 23, 1958, in Emporia.  He lost his sweetheart on April 7, 2023, in Emporia. He is survived by his sons, Bruce (Linda) Davis of Emporia, Bryan (Jackie) Davis and Brett (Carolyn) Davis both of Olpe; grandchildren, Clint (Tara) Davis, Lindsay (Lee) Baldwin, Aubrey (Blake) Sanders, Frankie (Johnny) Murray, Neleh Davis, and Angela and Dylan Davis; great-grandchildren, Tug, Rallie, Riggs, and Whitten Davis, Cade and Jace Garrett, and Landry, Grayson and Collins Baldwin; sister, Joyce (Joe) Pimple; sisters-in-laws, Margaret Roberts and Carolyn Davis.

His is preceded by his wife, parents, and brothers Frank Davis, Jr. and Dale Davis.

Bob thoroughly enjoyed this life whether it was farming, ranching, sales, owner of Davis Agri or as a Quarry Owner.  He was active on the USDA, 252 School Board, the Rural Water District #3 Watershed as well as the Eagle Creek Water Shed, Lions Club, served as a Lyon County Commissioner, Project Leader in 4-H and was a Hunter Safety instructor.

His family was a Treasure to him, and he loved every one of them!

Cremation is planned with a Celebration of Life from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m, Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Olpe.  Memorial contributions to Ebenezer United Methodist Church or the Olpe Fitness Park can be sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, PO Box 175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
