Robert Karl Spain of Strong City, Kansas died on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at his home. He was 66.
Robert was born on September 22, 1953 in Emporia, Kansas the son of Ralph and Dorothy Hubert Spain. He married Margaret Katherine Fox Dunn on March 4, 2000. She survives at the home.
Surviving family members include: wife, Margaret Katherine Spain of Strong City; daughters, Jennifer West of Emporia, and Juli Rogers of Kansas; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Robert worked as the night custodial supervisor at Emporia State University for 19 years before retiring three years ago.
Cremation is planned with a private memorial service at a later date.
