Rowan Lee Hoeme, Emporia, Kansas, died at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas, on Friday, November 18, 2011. He was 60.
Mr. Hoeme was born at Pratt, Kansas on August 18, 1951, the son of Donald and Peggy Jo (Oller) Hoeme. He married Kathy Lynn Williams July 7, 1999 at Emporia. She survives of the home.
He is also survived by his mother of Great Bend, Kansas, two daughters, and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his father and three sisters.
Mr. Hoeme was a veteran of the United States Army. Following his active duty time, he was a member of the Army and Navy Reserve.
He was a member of Saint Mark's Lutheran Church, Emporia.
Cremation is planned. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Saint Mark's Lutheran Church, Emporia. The service will be conducted by Pastor John Davis of the church.
