Ruby Marguerite Stockton, Emporia, Kansas, died Monday night, December 6, 2010 at the University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, Kansas. She was 87.
Ruby Marguerite Ambrose was born at Russellville, Missouri on April 27, 1923, the daughter of John F. and Blanche V. (Leslie) Ambrose. She married Robert D. Stockton at Jefferson City, Missouri on May 19, 1945. He survives.
Other family members include: a daughter, Janet E. McBee (Martin) of Kansas City, Missouri; brothers, John L. Ambrose of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Winston W. Ambrose of Nevada, Missouri; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Emma Eileen Hamill.
Mrs. Stockton was a homemaker and had been a resident of Emporia since 2001.
A graveside service will be held at the Enloe Cemetery, Russellville, Missouri, conducted by Brother Ken Mathes, California, Missouri.
