Sandra Ann Hedrick Fulton, 80 of Emporia, Kansas died Monday, October 5, 2015 at Holiday Resort in Emporia.
Sandra was born October 12, 1934 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Edward Morgan and Sarah Belle (Johns) Hedrick. She was a repair clerk at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Emporia until her retirement. She then worked in central supply at Newman Regional Health in Emporia for a short time.
She was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Emporia, Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority at Emporia State University, the Red Hat Society, and was very active at Holiday Resort.
Sandra married Robert David Fulton on August 16, 1959 in Kansas City, Missouri. They were later divorced.
She is survived by a son, Tom Fulton and wife Kim of Emporia; daughter, Jane Fulton Bruton of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Whitney Fulton of Emporia, Ivy Fulton of Emporia, Sarah Bailey of North Pole, Alaska, Kimberly Bruton of Williamston, South Carolina, and Amber Bruton of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; and one great-grandson, Blake Bruce of Liberty, South Carolina.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Patio Garden in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia. Father Brandon Farrar of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be officiating. Cremation is planned.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hand-In-Hand Hospice and sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
