Scott Wade Tucker, 45, of Rose Hill, Kansas, died March 12, 2013 while visiting the Philippines.
Scott was born February 13, 1968 in Newton, Kansas, the son of John D. and Donna M. (Bazil) Tucker. Scott was a graduate of Rose Hill High School and had attended Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. He worked as a Service Technician repairing copiers in the Kansas City & St. Louis areas, until taking early retirement due to health reasons.
Scott enjoyed fishing and he loved to travel. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas University Basketball fan.
Scott is survived by: his mother, Donna M. (Bazil) Tucker Campbell and stepfather, David Campbell of Rose Hill, Kansas; sister, Carol L. Linot of Douglass, Kansas; and a niece, Rachel Linot of Douglass, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Tucker; and grandparents, Ben and Wilda Bazil and William and Dollie Tucker.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Rose Hill Friends Church in Rose Hill, Kansas. Pastor David Crisp of the church will be officiating. Inurnment will be in Rose Hill Friends Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Rose Hill Friends Church and sent in care of the funeral home.
