Sheila Sue White, 62, of Emporia, Kansas, died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Newman Regional Health in Emporia, Kansas.
Sheila Sue Waters was born February 26, 1949 in Council Grove, Kansas, the daughter of David Waters, Jr. and Wanda (Warnake) Waters. Sheila was a graduate of Emporia State University and had worked as a Respiratory Therapist at Newman Regional Health in Emporia for 30 years, until she retired in December of 2006. She was a member of the Council Grove Christian Church in Council Grove, Kansas.
Sheila married John White and they later divorced. She is survived by: a son, Shawn White of Emporia, Kansas; Daughter, Jessica Stegman of Allen, Kansas; two grandchildren, Schuyler White of Emporia, Kansas and Ethan Stegman of Allen, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Tonja White.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia, with Rev. Mark Stukey officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia, Kansas.
