Stephen W. Shaw, 71, of Emporia, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Newman Regional Health in Emporia.
Steve was born November 24, 1944 in Yates Center, Kansas, the son of Max and Ruth Schade Shaw. He married Peggy Collins on July 5, 1969 in Hutchinson, Kansas. She survives at the home.
Other survivors include: son, Jerod Shaw and wife Kayla of Scottsdale, Arizona; daughter, Nicole Pratt and husband Rich of Ocala, Florida; granddaughter, Allison Pratt; and a brother, Terry Shaw.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Steve lived in Emporia and owned and operated Shaw Concrete for over 40 years. He was an avid golfer.
Cremation is planned with a private family service at a later date.
