Susana E. Barcenas De Munoz, 78, of Emporia died Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Holiday Resort. She was a homemaker.
Susana Elena Barcenas, the daughter of Bonifacio and Reginalda Martinez Barcenas, was born on August 13, 1936 in El Salvador. She married Manuel Munoz in 1989 in Los Angeles, California. He preceded her in death.
Susana is survived by a son, Denis Sandoval of Emporia; two daughters, Natividad Cartagena of Emporia and Elsa Barcenas of El Salvador; two brothers, Hector Barcenas and Margarito Barcenas, both of El Salvador; fifteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and two sisters.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia. Pastor Samuel Garcia of Iglesia Pentecostes will officiate. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
