Terry Lee Woods, 67 of Lake Kahola, Kansas died Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
Terry was born July 4, 1949 in Kansas City, Kansas. He worked in construction and then went to work for Hopkins Manufacturing in Emporia where he worked for 31 years. Terry was the Molding Department Manager when he retired in 2011. He was a volunteer for the Kahola Homeowners Association and enjoyed carpentry, boating, jet skiing, and face book.
Terry married Lynn Ferguson and they later divorced. He then married Sharon Smith on July 3, 1980 in Emporia. She survives of the home. Other survivors include children Shawn Woods of New Kent, Virginia, and Tamra Mortsolf of Lansing, Kansas, step children Robert Myers of Bern, Kansas and Megan Myers of Bentonville, Arkansas, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcella Talkington and Donald Fraser, and his siblings Donnie Fraser and Carolyn Sue Daily.
Cremation is planned and a memorial service will be held this summer.
