Theron L. Jarvis, 80, Manhattan, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas.
Theron was born March 17, 1944, in Cushing, Oklahoma, the son of Elmer and Dessie (Escoe Jarvis). He is survived by his daughter; Tracy Mulligan, West Hartford, Connecticut, sons; Sean Ruth, Manhattan, Kansas, Nicholas Jarvis, Olympia, Washington, sisters; Joyce Hammond, Emporia, Kansas, Leona Sparks, Leavenworth, Kansas, and Rose Lambert, Shawnee, Kansas, grandchildren; Sawyer Jarvis, Presley Ruth, Joel Mulligan, and Kate Mulligan.

Theron was first and foremost a loving father. He loved his children dearly and was immensely proud of them. He did many things in his life but at the heart of it he was an entrepreneur. He was a jack of all trades who did not want to work for the man. He was a hard worker and was tireless in his pursuit of his accomplishments. He was a creative man. He was a craftsman with his hands and a wordsmith with his mind. He was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. He had a playful spirit and loved to have fun, joke, and laugh.
He loved his family. Everything he did was for them. He was loved by many, and his presence will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
