Troy Amos

Troy Amos, rural Emporia, passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the age of 37.

Troy was born in Emporia, Kansas on October 30, 1986 the son of John Michael and Marcia Fields Amos. On September 12, 2015 Troy married Maggie Danborg in Emporia. They later divorced and she survives. He is also survived by his children; Bowen and Emma Amos, his mother; Marcia Noss, Grandmothers; Helen Lamoureux and Barbara Amos. He is preceded in death by his father, John, sister; Micia Amos, and grandfathers; John Amos and Dale D. Fields.

He was an electric lineman and was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Topeka, Kansas.

Cremation is planned.  Memorial services will be held at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11:00 A.M.  The service will be conducted by Pastor Phyllis Stutzman, Emporia Presbyterian Church.
