Vera L. Mason, (77) of Allen, died Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Newman Regional Health. Vera was a homemaker. Cremation is planned with no services at this time.
Vera L. Burden, the daughter of Howard and Doris Varelman Burden was born March 26, 1938 in rural Lyon County. She married Norman C. Mason on November 7, 1953 in Emporia. He survives of the home.
Other surviving members of the family include, two sons, Mike Mason of Lake Elsinore, CA and Robert Mason of Allen; two sisters, Mary Besack of Allen and Janetta Burden of Kansas; four grandchildren, Kimberly, Heather, Allen and Kristina; and nine great-grandchildren.
