Victor Penn, 54, Bushong, Kansas, and formerly of Americus, died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Stormont-Vail Medical Center, Topeka.
Victor was born on January 18, 1962 at Denver, Colorado, the son of Willis R. and Tomie (Takayama) Penn. He married Rene M. Gustafson February 2, 1981. She survives.
Surviving family members include his wife, Rene; son, Brian K. Penn, Bushong; a brother, Cecil Penn and his wife, of Arizona; sister, Kathie Hotz, Washington; a grandson, Adam Penn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Penn had been working toward his CPA at Metro State University in Denver, and had been working as an accountant until his disability in 1994.
Funeral services will be at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. The service will be conducted by Pastor Nancy Brown, Americus United Methodist Church, Americus, Kansas. Burial will follow in Bushong Cemetery, Bushong, Kansas.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, February 10, 2016 from 7:00 until 8:00.
