Wanda E. Huhs, 95, formerly of Allen died Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Diversicare of Council Grove. There will be no public services. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery.
Wanda Ellen Boosinger the daughter of Austin and Florence Lovee McDermit Boosinger was born September 12, 1923 in Allen. She married Harold Frank Huhs on July 5, 1941 in Eskridge. He preceded her in death on February 15, 1997. She was a homemaker, a graduate of Admire High School and a United Methodist member, attending both the Allen and Admire churches.
Wanda is survived by a two daughters, Ellen L. Hale of Admire and Teresa Ann Nash of Federal Way, Washington; a son Harold Lee Huhs of Alice Springs, Australia; six grandchildren, Allison Huhs, Stephanie Huhs, Matthew Huhs, Joshua Nash, Brian Adee, and Jonathan Adee, who preceded her in death; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, four sisters, and her grandson.
