Warren Wayne Rathke, 83, of Olpe, Kansas, died September 7, 2012 at Newman Regional Health in Emporia.
Warren Wayne Rathke was born September 28, 1928, on the family farm outside Olpe, the son of William and Alvina Kuhn Rathke. Warren spent most of his working years on that farm, later retiring to Olpe with two brothers.
He is survived by a sister, Claire Kimberlin of Madison, Kansas, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, James Rathke, Lee Robert Rathke and Bob Rathke; a sister, Helen Louise Mackey; and a nephew, Ronald Ray Rathke.
Cremation is planned with a private burial at a later date.
