Wesley E. Kunkel, 49, Emporia, Kansas, passed away at Stormont Vail Health Care, Topeka, on Friday, August 7, 2015.
Wesley Eugene Kunkel was born in Emporia, the son of Fred E. and Marcia (Nunnemaker) Kunkel, on June 1, 1966.
Mr. Kunkel is survived by his brother, Ron Kunkel (Melanie) of Waverly, Kansas, and his father, Fred, of Emporia.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcia Clark, who died March 4, 2015.
Wesley owned and operated Kunkel Handyman Service and was a member and past president of the Spirit 3 Club of Emporia.
Graveside services will be at Waverly Cemetery, east of Waverly, on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. The service will be conducted by Rev. Ken Armstrong, West Side Baptist Church, Emporia.
The family will receive friends at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia, Tuesday evening from 5:30 PM until 6:30 P.M.
