William Francis Schaefer of Emporia, died on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at his home. He was 64.
Bill was born on December 16, 1959, in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Francis and Mildred Schaefer. Surviving family members include his mother Mildred Schaefer of Emporia, brothers, Robert Scott Schaefer of Overland Park, Kansas, and Gary Schaefer of Prairie Village.
He is preceded in death by his father Francis.
Bill worked for more than 30 years in the Maintenance Department at Tyson in Emporia. He served over a decade in the United States Army.
