Wilma H. Hitzeman, 91, Emporia, passed away at the Emergency Department of Newman Regional Health, Emporia, March 10, 2020.
Wilma Helen Dooley was born in Keytesville, Missouri on March 24, 1928, the daughter of Curtis and Frankie Caroline (Clark) Dooley. She married Fred R. Hitzeman on November 9, 1958 at Kansas City, Missouri. He died September 5, 2012.
Surviving family members include her daughter; Audrey Hitzeman, Emporia, sons; Alan Hitzeman of Olathe, KS and Dennis Hitzeman, Emporia, sisters; Georgia Dooley, Salisbury, MO, and Lois Bengston, Newfolden, MN. Her sister; Kathryn Dooley and brother; Melvard Dooley, died earlier.
She was a member of the West Side Baptist Church, Emporia.
Cremation is planned. Services are pending.
